The results are in! Meet Enterprise Nation's 2017 Student Start-up of the Year

A ground breaking business that is creating a bio-membrane capable of condensing water from thin air to help people lacking access to clean water has been crowned Enterprise Nation's first ever Student Start-up of the Year, a competition powered by Microsoft and 123 Reg.

ThinAir, run by five students from Imperial College London, was one of 10 semi-finalists selected from entries received from students and graduates at more than 50 educational institutions across Britain.
After pitching to expert judges, five finalists were chosen to face a public vote and ThinAir came out on top with 699 votes.
The start-up's victory was revealed during Enterprise Nation's Go and Grow Online Summit in London. Watch a video below featuring an interview recorded immediately the announcement.
