Enterprise Nation brings free business support to the high street

Posted: Wed 22nd Jul 2015
We know that if entrepreneurs get the right support when they need it, their business will thrive. That's why we're delighted to announce that we're launching an exciting new pop-up business support initiative in five locations across the UK this August and September.
In collaboration with business insurance provider Simply Business, Enterprise Nation will set up mobile growth advice clinics on high streets in Horsham, Birmingham, Manchester, Wandsworth borough and Bristol.
Micro businesses, small firms and sole traders looking to take their business to the next level will be able to access advice from experienced advisers from Enterprise Nation's Marketplace.
Different workshops will be offered every day and each lunchtime will see a bookable 'power hour' for those that want more detailed one-to-one advice.
The aim of the pop-ups is to connect small businesses with the right advice, at the right time, in an accessible location. Venues range from libraries and a Post Office to an independent cafe based inside an independent music store.
Emma Jones, founder of Enterprise Nation, said: "Research shows that businesses that take on board advice are more likely to succeed and grow. This series of workshops in the borough is designed to give resident entrepreneurs face-to-face guidance and support from experts who can help them reach their business goal."
Jasper Martens, head of marketing and communications at Simply Business, added: "Start-ups and micro-businesses are pivotal for the British economy and so often they don't get the support they need. We fully support the mobile growth support clinics which will offer advice in key areas such as finance, marketing and sales. This is exactly the type of support small businesses need."
