This year, Enterprise Nation will again host The Food Exchange Ireland online event, with a full-day programme for Irish food and drink businesses taking place on Thursday 20 October 2022.

Industry experts and successful entrepreneurs will be on hand to provide top tips for growing a great brand and how to consider sustainability for your business, while buyers will share how you can pitch your products.

Anyone operating, or considering operating, a food or drink business should put this date in their diary!

If you're still on the fence about whether or not to attend, here are five reasons to grab your ticket today.

  1. This event is entirely free and online. All you need to do is register for the event, and turn up in the comfort of your own home, office or anywhere you prefer.

  2. You could be one of the four businesses with the opportunity to pitch their product to Sodexo. Not only will you have a chance to meet the buyer, when Aoife Wycherley, head of food procurement and supply chain at Sodexo UK&I, gives a talk. Four lucky attendees will have the opportunity to pitch live via webcam. Apply to pitch your business

  3. Get inspired! We have some great guests sharing their stories. Tim McCarthy, owner of Blackfire Food, a hot sauce company based in Belfast, will share his secrets on branding. Alice Carroll, co-founder of Foxes Bow Whiskey, will talk about her experiences on the whiskey trail, while Seany McCleary, co-founder of Blásta and Streat School, will have you all wanting to set up a food truck business with his inspiring chat.

  4. Learn how to get funding for your food business. John Stapleton, founder of New Covent Garden Soup Co and Little Dish, and mentor to Food Works Ireland, will impart his food business wisdom and give some insights into the Redesdale fund.

  5. Find out how to make sustainability a priority in your food and drink business. There will be an excellent panel discussion with representatives from sponsors GS1 IrelandENSO and AIB on that very topic.

There will also be plenty of opportunities for you to network, so all that is left for you to do is sign up today.
