A Bit About Me
I qualified as a chartered accountant in 1991 and proceeded to work in corporate finace organising mergers and acquistions, helping clients prepare strategies supported by strategic and business plans.
From there I worked in the City for organisations such as Amey, Land Securities, London Underground and Sodexo.
Since 2011 I have run my own businesses working with clients large and small including Wilmott Dixon and Ashley House.
I have always had an interest in sustainability issues. In my childhood I noticed the change in biodiversity when our local deciduous forest was replaced with conifers.
My passion was rekindled as the climate crisis worsened.
Using my experience of strategy design and implementation I am helping organisations reach certification under the various environmental criteria out there e.g. B-Corp and ISO 14001.
It is so great to combine a personal love with a business ambition.
Equally, I have always had a passion for hospitality. I have helped many pubs, hotels and restaurants with their business issues including strategy, business growth and funding which has been both rewarding and pleasurable

I currently work in business development and support, aligning public funding and grants to business projects and clients of all sizes by building solid relationships and targeted outcomes. I help businesses leverage grant funding to grow their business, drive new business and sales opportunities, select and work with the right partners in funding applications, and make their projects become a reality and drive innovation and technology in critical areas such as moving to Net Zero and the data economy.&nbsp;

My goal is to enable clients and projects by making the most of funding that is already out there and which they may not know of. The information is made into actionable format to build a project strategy and drive success.

Originally from the UK, I have lived in France, Italy, Germany, Canada and more recently the Netherlands, I am a global citizen with a keen knowledge of what companies need to grow and thrive in a European and global context. Mother tongue English, I speak fluent French, Italian and German and have a good reading knowledge of Dutch and Spanish. This makes me a good team player in teams made up of different language speakers, helping to ensure continuity and progress in all business activity.
