Growing up in the vibrant neighbourhood of Southeast London, Jennifer&apos;s passion for fashion and her aptitude for mathematics have always coexisted harmoniously. Jennifer’s distinctive sense of style is enriched by the cultural influences of her Nigerian heritage, passed down by her parents.
While pursuing a degree in Medical Biology at Brunel University, Jennifer&apos;s passion for writing began to flourish. In early 2016, Jennifer decided to venture to Italy to make her mark in the fashion industry, where she stayed for three transformative months. During her time there, she authored her book, &quot;Look at the Labels&apos;&apos;. This book has been developed over her entire career and has been written to educate and empower consumers to make better choices when shopping. It has been ‘labelled’ as the ultimate cheat sheet to personal styling and shopping and reflects her mission towards conscious consumption.
It was during this pivotal period that Jennifer was recruited by Zalando, Europe&apos;s largest online fashion retailer, expanding her expertise into analytics and financial management. Here, Jennifer was able to combine her love of fashion, with activism and has become a leading voice in inclusion and equality in the industry, even leading a panel discussing ‘Racism in the Fashion Industry’.
Jennifer&apos;s influence extends beyond her professional roles as an author, fashion specialist, and speaker. She has leveraged her reach as a fashion influencer on social media and is often a guest at several London Fashion Week shows and programs. Jennifer also serves as an ambassador for the German Clothing Foundation, furthering her commitment to positive change in the industry. Jennifer has been featured in key publications including Woman, The Guardian, Metro, Off the Hangar and Yes She Can Podcast.
Jennifer has 6 siblings, all of whom have been an inspiration to her, and who have provided a strong support system, which Jennifer believes is a key ingredient to becoming a successful entrepreneur. Jennifer credits her parents and family for instilling values that she utilizes within her own life and family. Jennifer is married to Count Max von Walderdorff, whom she met when she moved to Germany and they have a young son together.
