Enterprise Nation, Uber and Be Inclusive Hospitality are joining forces to support firms through the Black Business Fund.

The fund will distribute £250,000 to Black-owned firms in the catering industry that are still struggling to recover from the pandemic and now face the energy and cost of living crises.

From 19 October to 25 November 2022, Black-owned restaurants with fewer than five locations can apply to the fund for a grant. Twenty-five restaurants will each receive £10,000, as well as access to mentoring from Enterprise Nation, to give their businesses a valuable boost.

The initiative is designed to help independent restaurants improve their leadership and management skills, develop strategies to manage risks from outside the business, and gain the knowledge they need to build and grow.
