Uber and Enterprise Nation launch £250,000 fund to support Black-owned restaurants

Posted: Thu 5th Oct 2023

Enterprise Nation, Uber and Be Inclusive Hospitality are joining forces for the third year running to support food businesses through the Black Business Fund.

The fund will award a total of £250,000 to 25 small Black-owned businesses. At least half of the grants will go to small businesses outside of London who are experiencing struggle with the cost-of-living crises.

From 5 October to 15 November 2023, Black-owned restaurants with fewer than five locations can apply to the fund for a grant.

The initiative is designed to help independent restaurants improve their leadership and management skills, develop strategies to manage risks from outside the business, and gain the knowledge they need to build and grow.
