The new Enterprise Nation platform is almost here! Progress update

We will soon be launching a new-look and improved Enterprise Nation. Head of membership, Sophie Arnold, explains what you have to look forward to and how members are getting involved in the process.

In December 2017 we announced that with support from ICAEW, the Enterprise Nation platform will relaunch this year.

Work is very much underway and excitement growing at Enterprise Nation HQ as plans come to life.

Firstly though, I want to take a step back and outline why we’re building the platform and scaling support.

It came about by listening to the challenges and needs of business owners like you.

You spoke to us via focus groups, member surveys and daily conversations we have with you at events, online and via social. We feel confident the new platform will empower you to build and grow successful businesses.

One of the strongest pieces of feedback was that you want more ways to connect with both advisers and other entrepreneurs.

On launch, we will be introducing a member directory for the first time allowing you to connect with peers to share experiences, support and advice.

We will be enhancing the adviser search feature and making it easier than ever to find the right expert to take your business to the next level.

Adviser members will have the opportunity to show off expertise by sharing content on your profiles and small business owners will have a much clearer view of the services they offer.

These enhancements, along with our continuing programme of free taster consultations for members, will mean business owners will feel confident and comfortable when seeking advice.

As well as connecting with advisers, many of our small business members are looking for more practical 'how-to' content to solve challenges. Work will continue to produce this in-house, as well as a new library of content from adviser members.

In short, with the launch of the new platform, we will be making it very easy for you to find what you need quickly. Whether it's an in-depth webinar on using Facebook advertising or a five-minute video highlighting top tips when pitching to buyers, you'll be able to find what you need in a few clicks.

Many of our members were not aware of some of Enterprise Nation's benefits or weren't sure how to access them.

To solve this and ensure you’re getting the best value for money from your membership, your new member dashboard will highlight how to easily access all your member exclusive opportunities.

There'll also be a new tool to help you discover the next steps to take for your business based on your goals and current status, plus ongoing recommendations.
