Enterprise Nation will look very different in less than two weeks with the launch of a groundbreaking new business support platform. Ahead of the launch, head of membership, Sophie Arnold, reports from a user testing session with Enterprise Nation members.
We were excited to welcome a group of members to our London office on Tuesday for a user testing session of the new platform going live on 3 April.
It was a really exciting day for me especially as I got to share something I've been working on for five months and see members using the tech for the first time.
As part of the session, we asked the business owners to try out some of the new features such as the discovery tool, which provides personalised content recommendations based on your business needs, and the content search which includes all of the many Enterprise Nation resources such as webinars, blog posts and videos.
We were really pleased with the feedback and are confident that the features will provide a great resource for members.
Small business member Majida Burch from Brennan and Burch said:
"I found the content tool really useful. I'm discovering lots I've never come across."
We also asked some of the adviser members who attended to add services to their profiles and shared this with small business members to get their feedback on how the new profile layouts helped them to understand what the advisers offer.
Janan Leo, co-founder of Cocorose London said:
"Having a breakdown of the adviser services and price range is really useful. I can see straight away if it's a good fit for what I'm looking for."
Kathy Ennis of Little Piggy, one of our longest standing adviser members, felt that the new profile layouts mean:
"small businesses really feel like they know you".
We were also really pleased with how easy to use members found the platform with it being described as intuitive, professional, clean and members felt "the user navigation really works".
And our favourite feedback of the day? From one of the ICAEW accountants who attended:
"It's user friendly, easy to manage and I look forward to using it!"

We're continuing the user testing with another session for members in Bristol today and then we'll be knuckling down to make sure we're ready for launch!
