Lord Young's career is a very varied one. From starting businesses and investing in other people's to leading FTSE 100 firms and serving on Margaret Thatcher's Cabinet in the 1980s, there's very little the 84 year old doesn't know about growing successful businesses.

We gathered together some friends of Enterprise Nation in London this week for a special evening featuring Lord Young in conversation with our founder Emma Jones. During an enlightening and entertaining chat, the peer, who has been described as 'the dude', discussed her career and passion for supporting disadvantaged young people in setting up their own companies.

How to make the most of your time in a start-up accelerator

So you've made it into a start-up accelerator. What do you do next?
