Seizing the digital opportunity: This week on Enterprise Nation

Posted: Sun 31st Jan 2016
Head of content Dan Martin looks back at the past week on Enterprise Nation.
Hundreds of people have downloaded our new eBook, 19 ways to embrace the web and make the most of the digital opportunity, since we launched it on Tuesday which shows that the desire among many of Britain's small business owners to seize the power of the internet is stronger than ever.
Not all entrepreneurs feel that way though. We've seen some research that will be released tomorrow which shows many are still not exploiting the opportunity with some not even seeing the need for a company website.
But no matter what sector you operate in, we believe you should on the internet. It's not going away and your business may be left behind if you're not part of the digital revolution.
We are determined to close the gap between those who do and those who don't when it's comes to digital. The eBook is part of our Go and Grow Online campaign which is packed with resources and events to help your build a brilliant business on the web.
We will continue to publish useful content such as this week's small business guide to online resources for finding suppliers and our hugely popular webinar on how to run a successful crowdfunding campaign which you can replay here.
Also this week, we looked ahead to some brilliant events we've got lined up in February across the UK starting with our founder, Emma Jones, sharing the five steps to growing your business in 2016. Join us at our HQ in Somerset House in London where you'll also receive a free copy of Emma's great book, Going for Growth. Tickets to the event on 9 February at 6pm are available here.
The inspiration continued to pour out of Enterprise Nation TV this week finishing with our round-up of the top 10 most popular videos from the channel in January.
Finally this week we kicked off a new monthly series focusing on business owners who've raised funding and explaining how they did it.
