What was your motivation to start your own business?
To make products that solve problems with a by-product of the freedom to explore and travel the world with my family. I also couldn't just sit in an office!
What's your advice for balance home life with work when running a business?
Change your sleep cycles and patterns so you can squeeze in everything required for family time, have a successful business and be relatively normal by meeting friends as regularly as time allows.
What's your top tip for effective sales and marketing?
Do plenty of due diligence on who you are trying to sell to before making an approach.
Which tools could you not live without in your business?
Evernote, Dropbox, Trello and Xero.
What movie, song or book offers you the most business inspiration anhy?
Forrest Gump. He's nice to people and nice things happen to him in return. Good ethos for going about one's business.
What's been your biggest business success to date?
Achieving our first target of being stocked in over 100 stores in the U.K.
If you had to live on a desert island with one entrepreneur who would it be and why?
My current business partner. We could plan our next venture before being rescued and he's my best friend so we would make each other laugh for as long as we were there.
What are your ambitions for the next five years?
Runderwear known as the world's best sports underwear brand. Masters of Mayfair known to produce the world's finest sleeping masks. Both selling successfully on a global scale.
