Today, we're hugely excited to be launching the 

 e-learning programme in partnership with Vodafone - part of an extensive online training programme that will help 100,000 small businesses boost their digital skills.

The free 12-month initiative - delivered exclusively online, and consisting of workshops, webinars and e-learning modules - will empower businesses to kickstart digital change, adopt new technology, and stay safe online.

What does the e-learning training cover?

The e-learning covers four core topics of: Collaboration, building a presence online, managing digital security and optimising connectivity. The e-learning is delivered in bitesize chunks and will cater to those just starting their online journey as well as those looking to build on existing experience:

 How you can use communication and planning tools to provide foundations for the future of your business, including how you can use Microsoft 365 products.

 Providing the knowledge and skills to put your business in front of new audiences. The course covers how you can use digital support platforms such as Wix to help develop your online presence and e-commerce.

 Raising awareness of the risks that exist online, and how to ensure you and your customers stay safe. This content is delivered by Lookout Mobile Security, an on device security solution providing businesses with the ability to prevent,e detect and remediate against threats on your mobile and tablet devices.

 Helping small business owners to choose the right connectivity options to suit flexible working or changes in working environment.

Training aside, all business.connected participants will be offered a free consultation with a 

, who can advise on everything from digital marketing strategies to online security. This free one-on-one support will be available right away. 

They'll also have access to exclusive offers for small businesses over the course of the 12-month programme.
