Enterprise Nation debates the future of social media

On Monday 23 July, we're hosting the first Enterprise Nation Debates event.
This brand new event series, which is free for Enterprise Nation members, will give you the chance to hear from on-trend experts about the topics that matter to the future of small business.
Head of events, Emma Greenfield comments: "Social media has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons this year with data breaches, brands leaving the platforms and increasing evidence that social media has a negative effect on mental health. We are hosting this debate to identify what the future of social media may look like for both small business owners and consumers".
The panel have been selected for their variety of expertise in the topic of social media.
The debate panel will feature:
Luke Graham, business features writer at City AM
Faith Chastain, director of partnerships at social agency Lightful
Vic Lloyd, head of operations at Sanctus, changing the perception of mental health
Leona Thrift-ola, founder and active social media marketer at the Lucky Dip Club
Guests will be asked to share one opportunity and one challenge they see in social media (either as a business owner or consumer) before the panel go on to debate the following topics:
Authentic interaction between brands and consumers
Social media for change: Empowering communities and causes
Will more consumers step away from social media due to negative impacts on mental health?
Will brands step away from social media?
