Enterprise Nation celebrates Irish female entrepreneurship

Posted: Mon 24th Oct 2022

This week sees the return of Enterprise Nation's Festival of Female Entrepreneurs hosted in association with #SheMeansBusiness.

The event takes place on Tuesday 25 October 2022 at Meta's Dublin offices. Attendees will be treated to a day full of inspiring stories and informative panel discussions.

Ukrainian founder story

Ukraine's Yevheniia Lukash will share her entrepreneurship story. Yevheniia had her own fashion business in Ukraine, employing 86 people, when war broke out. She now helps female founders start their own business and gain economic empowerment.

Panel discussions include building your profile in the digital era, with Ireland's leading multi-media professionals, and building a sustainable small business with some of Enterprise Nation's sustainable business members.

HBAN's Niamh Sterling will host a panel on how, when and why to raise money, including expert views from Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland, AIB, Awaken Hub and Accountant Online.

Emma Kennedy will share her start-up story of Grafter, her modern office space concept.

Fearless leadership

Female leadership will be discussed in a panel on managing high growth businesses in uncertain times – with Martina McDonnell of Meta, Sonya Geelon of Mastercard, Aideen Cardiff of Microsoft and Aine Rogers of Cisco.

Enterprise Nation members take centre stage in the 'building a sustainable small business' panel discussion and the day rounds off with a 'creative' fireside chat with film producer Zoe Rocha, moderated by Enterprise Nation's own Emma Jones.

The event is sponsored by Sage, GS1 Ireland and AIB.

Good luck to everyone attending the event. Have a great day!
