Craft and business partnership to offer extra boost to UK makers

Posted: Tue 27th Nov 2012
We're delighted to announce that we've formed a new partnership with Stitch Craft Create, the craft projects website for all things handmade, from cakes to clothes and everything in between.
We're working with them on Stitch Craft Create Business, a brand new sister site aimed at helping enthusiastic makers turn their hobby into an income stream. The website offers advice for craft businesses, interviews with craft entrepreneurs sharing their experience, and tips for successful craft selling.
Plus they have a special membership offer that includes a free ebook The Craft and Creative Start-up Kit written by - you guessed it - Enterprise Nation founder Emma Jones! Crafters who sign up as club members (for a £25 annual subscription) will also get free access to a craft-based business directory, discounts on products from the Stitch Craft Create shop, special offers from big name brands and, last but not least, a regular newsletter packed with tips and promotions. Anyone visiting the site can also online training for makers via the Creative University. With craft businesses flourishing in the UK and more and more creative people thinking of starting their own venture, Stitch Craft Create Business could become an invaluable guide to helping you turn your talent into an income.
