business.connected: How Vodafone’s new smartphone partner, Samsung, can help small businesses go digital

Posted: Thu 10th Feb 2022

In May 2021, Enterprise Nation and Vodafone Business launched their business.connected partnership. The free training programme aims to help 150,000 small businesses develop the digital skills they need to grow and succeed.

To date, over 65,000 small businesses across the UK have taken the business.connected e-learning courses on topics such as digital marketing and boosting productivity. Now the partnership has expanded further, with Vodafone bringing on board Samsung Electronics (UK) as its ‘Exclusive Smartphone Partner’.

On top of the workshops, webinars, e-learning modules and offers the initiative already provides, small businesses can now access a range of free Samsung-inspired digital training courses. These cover everything from optimising connectivity on the go, to connecting devices for worry-free productivity.

Samsung will also take part in business.connected webinars and workshops, delivering crucial insight and advice on how small businesses can take advantage of digital technology.

By providing free, expert training, the business.connected programme helps small businesses adopt technology, boost their digital skills and stay safe online. Those people taking part access courses through the Vodafone V-Hub – on subjects ranging from setting up a business online, digital marketing, and cyber security – and get a free consultation with a Vodafone Business V-Hub adviser.

Joe Walsh, director of B2B at Samsung, said:

“As the pillar of our communities, large organisations must go above and beyond to make sure small businesses get the support they need to ensure their long-term preservation. We’re joining this great initiative with Vodafone as an exclusive smartphone partner, and hope our courses go a long way to helping entrepreneurs maximise online opportunities.”

Andrew Stephens, head of small business at Vodafone, said:

“We’re delighted to welcome Samsung to the business.connected initiative. With our partners, we can continue to ensure that the level of guidance, resources and tools on offer are best in-class, safeguarding the long-term future of small businesses which are the backbone of our economy.”
