ANNOUNCEMENT: Amazon Academy expands to Manchester

Following the success of the Amazon Academy in London, we are today announcing that the next event in the series is taking place at Manchester Central on Friday 31 March. The Amazon Academy will provide free advice and practical support to help SMEs from across the North West succeed in the digital economy.
The free to attend event is open to businesses of all sizes and is run in partnership with Enterprise Nation and The Guardian Small Business Network.
Businesses will be able to learn how to use the power of digital to grow your business, boost export sales and improve the customer experience. SMEs ranging from e-commerce businesses and web developers, through to new start-ups and local artisans will be in attendance to hear from a range of speakers who will provide 'how to' advice and insights, as well as discussing some of the broader issues facing SMEs.
In the morning, you'll be able to find out how you can make the most of the digital opportunity as a small business, with insight from Amazon; Emma Jones, founder of Enterprise Nation, as well as other independent experts.
Following a networking lunch, in the afternoon session attendees will be given practical advice on:
How to build their digital capabilities and expertise to boost revenue, geographic reach and productivity
How to boost export sales and go global through Amazon Marketplace
How Amazon Launchpad can help start-ups bring innovative new products to market
How to use cloud computing to be lean, fast and agile through Amazon Web Services
How to reach new customers through Alexa, Amazon's exciting new cloud-based voice service
