Following the success of the Amazon Academy in London and Manchester, the next event in the series is taking place at The EICC in Edinburgh on Tuesday 23 May.
The Amazon Academy in Scotland will provide free advice and practical support to help SMEs from across Scotland succeed in the digital economy. The free event is open to businesses of all sizes and is run in partnership with Scottish Enterprise and Enterprise Nation.
As a small business owner (or someone thinking about starting your own business), you will be able to learn how to use the power of the internet and technology to grow your company, boost export sales and improve the customer experience.
SMEs ranging from ecommerce businesses, web developers and new start-ups will be in attendance to hear from a range of speakers who will provide 'how to' advice and insights, as well as discussing some of the broader issues facing businesses today in Scotland.
What happens on the day?
In the morning, you'll be able to find out how you can make the most of the digital opportunity as a small business, with insight from Amazon, Scottish Enterprise, Entrepreneurial Spark, Enterprise Nation and other independent experts and successful entrepreneurs.
Following a networking lunch, in the afternoon session attendees will be given practical advice on how to capitalise on Amazon's global digital and physical products and services to boost your revenue, improve productivity, and reach customers globally, including:
How to boost export sales and go global through Amazon Marketplace
