We are James & Poppy... husband and wife (and three cats) team
Poppy is a former healthcare professional. She has always made jewellery as a hobby since being a teenager, but a diagnosis of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus 10 years ago changed her life forever. After years of trying to remain in full time employment, she finally had to reassess her life after the disease nearly killed her in 2017 and PoppyK was born. Not only does Poppy love every second of running her own business, but PoppyK has been a lifesaver for her in so many ways. James, a former firefighter, joined the business full time in 2017.
We have been selling our jewellery in our first Etsy shop - PoppyKittenDesigns - our baby -  since 2014.  We have now sold over 17,000 pieces of jewellery there and recently branched out to our second Etsy shop selling personalised gifts.
We also have an active storefront on NotOnTheHighStreet.
We are due to open our first shop at Hatch, Manchester on 15th June 2019 and we are sooooo excited. 
Ever since 2016, we have had a stall on Manchester Christmas Markets from early November - December. 2019 is no exception and we are hoping to have another record breaking Christmas outside Selfridges again this year ;)

We are continually designing and sourcing new products so there is always something new and fresh to see. We focus a lot on our own interests and hobbies. We are both huuuuuge animal lovers, so a lot of our products are inspired by animals or aimed at animal lovers. Travel, scuba-diving (Poppy is a PADI Scuba Diving Instructor) and food are huge passions of ours too and again, feature strongly throughout our ranges. 
Some of our products are entirely made by hand, some are assembled and some are sourced from all around the world. 
Our aim is to provide interesting, unique and cute products, with a particular emphasis on gifting. We absolutely love what we do and hope our passion shines through in our products and via our social media.
