&lt;p&gt;Struggling with low blood sugar levels as a child, chocolate became one of my five-a-day&amp;nbsp;and it fuelled my training when training to play badminton for England.&amp;nbsp;Nowadays it enhances my running and fitness performance and helps me nurture my mind when the going gets tough.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Underwhelmed by the taste and range of energy drinks and bars Ive tried over the years, I turned to chocolate once again and started to experiment.&amp;nbsp;Id combine different types of chocolate with other natural ingredients to see what boosted my performance, worked well with my gut, accelerated recovery and kept me centred I was working full-time, training everyday and becoming a chocolatier!&lt;/p&gt;
