I have over 20 years experience in providing data protection and privacy advice. Over the years of service in this field, I have had the honour of being entrusted to work with customer and employee information. I have practically and pragmatically guided, advised and protected well-known brands where customer trust is of utmost importance to maintain and continue to grow these successful and loved brands. I am passionate about “the human” and our rights to privacy. Ethics, morals and doing the "right thing" and not simply ticking "legal" boxes is a priority for me, so that we look after our employees and customers and do not hinder business for no good reason. It is important to remember that Data Protection laws are not here to hinder operations, but they are here to ensure we as humans have protection for how we expect our information to be used.
