It doesn’t really matter what you’re struggling with, whether it’s specific things within your business or the very business itself, problems will only continue to mount at varying rates and become more challenging for all concerned if some form of restructuring doesn’t take place.

Yet there could be a dozen or more components within your business that could provide the basis for a stronger one than the one you have today. The key here, is recognising the signals promptly, so that that you can take the most appropriate decisions and communicate them in a way that restores focus.

When people commission our services at the start of the project, the specific requirements vary greatly, but the fundamental reason is always the same, to help them grow and that always means some form of restructuring. The only thing that changes between each of them is where they are on that journey. Unexpected changes occur with customers, markets, staff availability or effectiveness. Then there’s the competition; do the new challenges come from known competitors, or new entrants that are making what you do redundant for good?

If you would value our help establishing the full extent of the facts, we’ll work with you to develop a plan that can help you overcome them. Do you have sufficient finance that will allow investment in complimentary areas e.g., a printer investing in a direct mail arm to add value or a box making business to reduce further costs, or perhaps you’re a cabinetmaker who decides to invest in a specialist paint finishing business. Of course, the only thing you might actually need is a clearer plan that works to refocus your teams, so if you’d like to speak to us about restructuring aspects of your business, just click on the ‘Book Here’ link below

If you want to give yourself the best possible chance of success, then you’ll need to surround yourself with the right people, and with an unblemished track record of developing other businesses since 2003, I’d hope to be someone that can help you. Here’s a few snippets from clients where we’ve helped transform their approach or adapt their thinking, - “I have really enjoyed working with Nigel, he has given our business a much clearer vision” "Nigel has managed to push my enthusiasm in the right direction, which is no mean feat” "Nigel is a very proactive person who makes things happen” "Nigel is considerate of my needs, he is driven, articulate, good-humoured and well-informed" "Nigel has great integrity and he has become our critical friend" Whilst most of our time is spent helping established firms overcome the same types of problems you’re probably facing today, if I can help you avoid the same pitfalls now, then I’d be very happy to help. Operating our practise since 2003, Genesis was formed to bring a much stronger understanding of business management and marketing to SME owners and senior leadership teams. As a former board director and senior exec within a Top 50 FTSE company, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Chartered Marketer, and member of the Levitt Group (for senior marketers), I felt many thousands of firms were missing out on a lot of advice and encouragement, and it became our goal to change that. In 2013, Enterprise Nation and the Chartered Institute of Marketing invited me to help support its members through the Growth Voucher scheme and in 2015, this work saw me recognised as, 'One of Britain's Top 50 Small Business Advisors'; in 2019 I was invited to become an Ambassador for a London based Financial Services Group to bring financial support and business advice to those boards aiming at a rapid growth and prompt lucrative sale. Could this be you? We’ve worked with many private businesses including Royal Warrant holding companies allied to the construction industry in manufacturing, wholesale, and associated services, where I joined the board of one of these companies as a non-executive director. I also work with companies in the retail and leisure sectors, although our skills are not industry specific. Outside of my paid roles I act as a Non-Executive Director for several schools where I provide on-going support for the national executive, delivering career support for students aged between 16-18 years. If you believe my experience and skills can help you with the hopes and desires you have for your business or, if you would like to read the remainder of the personal endorsements I've received, I'd be happy to share them with you. I look forward to hearing from you. Nigel Davis, FCIM CM (07963-187091) www.linkedin.com/in/nigeldavis1
