With death and illness being so much in everyone's mind at the moment, we are seeing a return in populariy to tradtional protection benefits. These include Death in Service, Group Critical Illness Cover, and Group Income Protection which can help to make sure that employees have peace of mind. For an employee to have the knowledge that their family/dependants would be looked at event in the event of their death, or that their finanical commitments could be met in the event of illness, it really helps them to see how much their employer cares.. Employees are often reluctant to give up valuable benefits like this and so they can help employers with retention.
