&lt;p&gt;I started Hungry Squirrel in May 2017 from my home kitchen after becoming intolerant to peanut butter and finding the alternative nut butters available on the supermarket shelves uninspiring.&amp;nbsp; I also wanted to provide my children with a healthy, nutritious spread that was not full of refined sugar and palm oil.&amp;nbsp; I began creating all-natural nut butters with exciting flavour profiles and then began selling at local farmers markets in my hometown of Aberdeen. I wanted to create a healthy yet delicious product that everyone could enjoy, my range of nut butters are all vegan, refined sugar free, contain no palm oil, are naturally gluten free and above all... full of flavour!&amp;nbsp; I now retail throughout Scotland via independent retailers and my online store which serves customers from all over the UK and further afield.&amp;nbsp; I moved to a commercial kitchen premises in January 2019 to scale up production. Winner of a BBC Good Food Show award in August 2017, the Healthy Choice award at the Scotland Food &amp;amp; Drink Excellence Awards 2018 and a Great Taste Award with one star in September 2020.&lt;/p&gt;

Hungry Squirrel’s dedication to quality has garnered numerous accolades, including a BBC Good Food Show award in 2017 and the Healthy Choice award at the Scotland Food &amp; Drink Excellence Awards in 2018. With a total of six Great Taste Awards to date, including recognition as a Great Taste Producer in 2023.&nbsp;
