Having lived in the care system from ages 11 to 21, and experienced involvement with the criminal justice system, Shimron understands firsthand the challenges mission-driven teams face. Turning these experiences into a success story of advocacy and action, Shimron has supported care-experienced communities for over seven years through the Drive Forward Foundation and serves as a steering committee member and communications lead for Lawyers Who Care CIC, an initiative helping young people from care backgrounds enter legal careers. Shimron's technical background spans both code and no-code tools, combined with delivery expertise across complex digital and data-driven government programmes. Their contributions include major initiatives such as the Post Office New Branch IT and Supply Chains projects, delivering technology with tangible social impact. BitesizedGenius also supports small businesses and individuals in adopting AI through training and consultation services. With the UK’s AI Opportunities Action Plan and a £63 billion digital skills gap, the need for organisations to adapt is urgent.
