We decided to call ourselves The Content Emporium because, like a traditional emporium, we&amp;#39;re a relatively small business and you get a bespoke service from us. We&amp;#39;ll work closely with you to achieve your marketing goals, whether you want more customers, need to reinvent your brand or simply don&amp;#39;t have enough time to communicate your messages in the way you&amp;#39;d like.&lt;br /&gt;

The agency is led by Charlotte Laing, a former magazine editor who began taking on freelance clients in 2009. Since then the client list has snowballed and the offices have got bigger but the ethos remains the same as it was at the beginning - a personal, friendly yet professional approach to customer publishing and digital content creation, with creativity at the heart of everything produced.&lt;/p&gt;

My mission is to help e-commerce mums to increase their sales fast &amp; gain time freedom with proven systems and expertise so they can enjoy life being present.
NatZen brand journey began in 2018 when I started researching the impact plastic has on our planet. I learned about formulating plastic-free soaps, shampoos, and conditioners for myself, my family &amp; friends. The resulting feedback was so positive, it speared me into action to study herbalism and skincare formulation. This in turn led me to pursue my passion for botanical skincare. On becoming a first-time Mum with no spare time for myself, I completely abandoned my skin and well-being. The stress had taken its toll on my well-being and the way my skin looked. It led me to create a skincare line that helps rejuvenate, restore &amp; heal stressed problematic, and dull skin. NatZen inspired me to motivate more women in similar positions to take better care of themselves by embracing wellness rituals, balance &amp; a positive mindset in their daily lives. NatZen also fueled my soul-driven mission to help mums in business because I know how stressful and overwhelming it can feel. All NatZen products are formulated with a holistic approach in mind for skin care and hair care. This method involves treating the whole body using only natural and organic products to heal and nourish skin &amp; hair. NatZen in full is ‘Naturally Zen’ and as the name implies; the end goal is to create products that bring a sense of serenity, enjoyment, and relaxation. I am passionate about producing holistic skincare products that are gentle on the skin and our environment simultaneously. In 2018 I had no eCommerce industry experience or business background. I worked hard to grow this business from the ground up all by myself. It all started with the Etsy Store, Local Markets, and friends&apos; recommendations and progressed to a luxury Natural Skincare Brand that is an example to others.  As a self-taught entrepreneur, I wear many hats and have learned so much since beginning this journey. All in all, I&apos;m just a Mother who had a dream and decided to go for it! I made a plan, put my plan into action, and little by little how NatZen started and evolved. I believe that entrepreneur mums are true superheroes, they are passionate, multi-talented, and have a burning desire to have a soul-driven purpose. I created a transformational Mums in Ecomm program as a soul-driven mission to help mums with e-commerce businesses to implement systems, mindset, and strategies that will help them to double and triple their sales and finally move from side hustle to their dream soul-led business. I’ve worked in marketing for over 20 years, and I love it! No two days are the same and it’s this variety that makes marketing so special for me.
The last company I worked for, Constant Contact, gave me the opportunity to work with 100s of small businesses across the UK. It was the best nearly four years I’ve had in a job! The business owners I met were (and still are) incredible. You could say I was bitten by the small business bug.
In 2016, I was made redundant. I knew I still wanted to work with micro businesses, so when my husband said I should start my own business, I didn’t need a huge amount of convincing. After all, I loved sharing email marketing tips with small business owners, and this way, I could do it all the time. How could I not love that?
Something that has made running my business easier is tech. And not just for marketing. I’m a big advocate for using technology to streamline what I do. Given I’m the only person in my business, anything that makes my life easier is a win in my books. Here’s some of the tech that powers my business:

<li>Accounting – I use an online tool that helps me keep track of what I’m spending, generate invoices (and automate sending them), as well as doing my expenses.</li>
<li>Payments – clients that pay me a set amount each month do so by direct debit. I use GoCardless to help me do this. I also use Stripe to help those who want to pay by credit card. It all gets automatically reconciled in my accounting app!</li>
<li>Design – I’m a BIG fan of Canva. I’ve been using it almost as long as I’ve been running my business. Anything is possible in Canva for those of us not blessed with design skills!</li>
<li>Industry knowledge – I have Google Alerts set up so I can keep up with trends in email marketing and the small business world. I also get alerts if I or my business are mentioned anywhere online.</li>
<li>Email marketing – where would I be without it? I use <a href=&apos;https://www.constantcontact.com/partner-offer?pn=marketingbyminal&intent=try&plantype=better&apos; target=&apos;_self&apos;>Constant Contact</a> for sending all my emails – my regular newsletter as well as my automations. It has a bunch of other digital tools too.</li>
<li>AI – OMG, how much time am I saving using AI? Around 4-5 hours a WEEK! That’s right, it’s a massive game-changer. I use ChatGPT.</li>
<li>My mobile – mustn’t forget this! I’m never without it. It helps me run my business when I’m not at my desk.</li>
</ul>

I’d worked globally in the boardrooms of several blue-chip companies, as an Executive Coach and team-building expert. I was highly trained and knew I was talented. Twenty years ago I was using some pretty advanced energy and play techniques which got great results. I helped grown men in grey suits get out of their heads and into their gut and their intuition. I had great fun at work. Away from that environment, I had a secret life going on in my head which meant I was desperately trying to find someone to love me. In 2013 I began dating my husband, John. We dated way back in 1983 and somehow 30 years later, John discovered me online. That&apos;s a story for another time. I found John and the Law of Attraction at the same time. Neither of us was in a good place, but we made a promise to ourselves that we were going to help each other, communicate openly and find happiness together. The Law of Attraction most definitely helped us both examine our behaviour and what we were attracting, but it wasn’t until I was introduced to Human Design that the magic happened. I began to see I wasn’t valuing my uniqueness. I began to see I was hiding and keeping myself small. I began to see the life that I’d kept secret from others WAS how I was meant to be As The Queen of Reinvention, I help women understand their uniqueness and how to make their secret life come true.
