I help female business founders to launch, scale and franchise their business. As a multi – business owner myself, I still walk the walk and understand the complexities of running a business firsthand. My name is Julie and my journey in business began in 1999 with roles in Corporate Sales and Management for high-end leisure and health clubs across London. This dynamic environment gave me a deep understanding of the membership model and an appreciation for the powerful impact that health and fitness can have on people’s lives. In 2006, I launched my own leisure consultancy, collaborating closely with startups on strategic marketing, sales, and operational rollouts. I thrived on the challenge of helping new concepts take root and become sustainable businesses. By 2011, my passion for health and community led me to set up Busylizzy Pre & Postnatal Fitness Club. What began as a small initiative to create a welcoming space for new parents has grown into the UK’s leading family fitness club, with over 55,000 families enjoying our fitness classes and community events. In 2014, I expanded Busylizzy by franchising, enabling us to reach parents across the UK. Today, supported by a network of talented advisors, designers, videographers, and over 300 exercise professionals, Busylizzy franchises span Hampshire, Hertfordshire, London, Surrey, Sussex, and Berkshire. In 2023, I became a director at Familia, a family-focused design and marketing agency helping brands create meaningful connections with families. This role allows me to leverage my experience to support brands with strategies that resonate with their target audiences. I am deeply passionate about business mentoring—whether it’s helping new entrepreneurs transform ideas into profitable ventures or supporting business owners seeking clarity and direction to achieve the success they deserve.
