&lt;p&gt;In my early career&amp;nbsp;I was national sales manager and&amp;nbsp;board director&amp;nbsp;within private and publicly&amp;nbsp;owned businesses,&amp;nbsp;before forming my own consultancy practise in 2003,&amp;nbsp;where it was my aim&amp;nbsp;to bring professional support for meticulous planning and development&amp;nbsp;to other independent companies. I&amp;nbsp;became a full member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Levitt Group in 2006,&amp;nbsp;becoming&amp;nbsp;Chartered in 2009.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Since 2003, I have worked with Royal Warrant holding businesses&amp;nbsp;allied to the construction industry&amp;nbsp;in manufacturing, wholesaling&amp;nbsp;and services,&amp;nbsp;whilst also working with non-Warrant holding companies in the retail and leisure sectors.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In 2012&amp;nbsp;Enterprise Nation invited me to help support members like you through&amp;nbsp;the&amp;nbsp;accredited Growth Voucher scheme;&amp;nbsp;this work saw me recognised by those clients who had benefitted from my support and in 2015 I was honoured to be named, &amp;#39;One of Britain&amp;#39;s Top 50 Small Business Advisors&amp;#39;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In 2013&amp;nbsp;I was invited to join an executive board&amp;nbsp;to support the management and shareholders of that company as an NED and more recently&amp;nbsp;I became an ambassador for a financial services firm which&amp;nbsp;works together with me to support business owners expand and ultimately sell their businesses. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Throughout the many years my practise has been running,&amp;nbsp;I have received some truly wonderful endorsements&amp;nbsp;which have all been generously written by my clients, all&amp;nbsp;of whom I&amp;nbsp;can now count as friends. He joined Arup, the internationally renowned Engineering Consultancy, working in London and Manchester&amp;nbsp;on high value UK projects as a designer and project manager, along with overseas experience in Russia and the Cameroon.&amp;nbsp;He actively promoted Arup in Liverpool through relationships with the City Council and Chamber of Commerce, ultimately setting up an office in 2001 to&amp;nbsp;focus&amp;nbsp;on bidding and Client Relationship Management, to help retain and secure new business.&amp;nbsp;In 2002, Malcolm was seconded to what is now the Department for International Trade (DIT) in London as an Export Promoter, encouraging UK companies to export their goods and services on the back of major sporting events in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Hungary, Brazil and Qatar.&amp;nbsp;Malcolm became Director of Business Development, External and International Relations at MIDAS, Manchester’s Inward Investment Agency in 2006, encouraging foreign owned companies to set up business in Greater Manchester.&amp;nbsp;In 2009 Malcolm established himself as an independent Business Development Consultant, actively encouraging businesses to Obtain, Maintain and Retain profitable business through&amp;nbsp;the five pillars of Market Intelligence, Proposition Development, Lead Generation, Project Handling and Client Relationship Management.&lt;/p&gt;
