About Ann-Maree Morrison MBE

Having founded and run my own ecommerce business, Labels4Kids Ltd, for over 19 years I sold the business in September 2022. I consult others on ecommerce and SME growth. In 2022 in the Platinum Jubilee Queen's Honours I received an MBE for services to Women In Business and to The Economy. Having been both Ecommerce Manager and Owner I understand a lot on the practicalities of getting the right advice at the right stage in your ecommerce and business journey. I have controlled and chosen several platforms over the years and moved site many times also. Many founders just operate on advice of digital agencies, who are often not experts in ecommerce but often know more on social media or graphic design, or wordpress builds. Ecommerce is complicated, has it's own tools and skills and is dependant on your product or service. I would love to help anyone starting or scaling their ecommerce journey.

I have advised the UK Government in the Ecommerce Task Force For Europe in 2013 and also the Scottish government on women in business and ecommerce. I am also co-chair of the W20 UK Delegation - gender advisory to the G20 represending the UK, on economic empowerment for women. I can advise online or face to face, for anyone in the UK or internationally.

I have experience as a Chartered Accountant and Management Consultant prior to operating my own business in ecommerce so am very familiar with financials, business growth and planning, change management, ecommerce starting and scaling, and operational efficiencies and cost savings.
