Hello!
My background is over thirty years in the communications industry. During that time I worked across all disciplines including design, advertising, digital, and live events. My key accountability lay in B2B sales.
I'm also a Mum to Chloe. Chloe my daughter has complex additional needs and is the inspiration behind doqit.
As a working lone parent I became engulfed in our day-to-day life admin, exacerbated by Chloe's medical appointments and educational reports. I had information all over the place and then reached a tipping point when after three consecutive years my tax return was late, resulting in fines I could ill afford.
There had to be a better way!
I searched for a solution and could find nothing. Everything was either too complicated or didn't do what I needed - a simple way to manage my information, documents, and dates in one place.
Then I discovered I wasn't alone.
Everyone I spoke to had a 'life admin' story and needed help. Digging a bit deeper, research confirmed:

<li>Over 50% of adults are suffering stress as a result of overwhelming mental load</li>
<li>The average family is leaking ~£120 every month on things like unwanted/unused subscriptions, roll over insurances, fines... because they're not on top of their life admin.</li>
<li>It's taking around 30 hours every month just to stay on top of it.</li>
</ul>
Action was needed. doqit was created.
Our journey is just beginning and to date have achieved:

<li>BETA platform launch Summer 2023</li>
<li>Onboarding 100 direct customers</li>
<li>Accepted to Heka and Perks-At-Work (Employee Benefits Programmes)</li>
<li>Trademark approved</li>
<li>Onboarded five companies</li>
<li>Generated revenue</li>
<li>Waiting list of ~800 for App Store launch September 2024</li>
<li>Solid roadmap to take doqit to the next level of being your AI driven personal digital assitant.</li>
