New Enterprise Allowance

If you are aged 18 or over and receiving any of the following benefits, you could be eligible for the New Enterprise Allowance programme; providing a weekly allowance paid for up to 26 weeks (maximum £1,274). This does not have to be repaid and does not affect your housing benefit, tax credits, income tax, universal credit or access to work grants.

Your business idea will be assessed by a specialist; if your plan is approved you will be signed up to the scheme and also provided with a business mentor to support you.
