Grow London Local: Accessing funding for SMEs in London

Jade will explain how to access venture capital (VC) financing as an early-stage start-up, the criteria and qualities VCs usually look for in founders and businesses and what documents business owners should have prepared for investors when seeking VC investment.

Funding London is an early-stage institutional investor (considered to be a hybrid LP/GP). It supports the growth of innovative SMEs through bespoke funding solutions and has supported over 800 businesses with access to approximately £130 million of funding across London. Its Investment Readiness Programme has helped over 120 businesses across London so far since 2022.

Bola Pascal-Johnson will also talk about the free support available at Grow London Local.
