Giving effective feedback: Growth Platform

Giving effective feedback: Growth Platform

Feedback is one of the most powerful communication tools successful managers and leaders have. There is evidence to support that effective feedback can play a major role in improving employee engagement, performance and development and can be instrumental in driving business success.

The problem, however, is that providing feedback can sometimes be uncomfortable and lead to challenging conversations. Many of us worry about how to manage the reactions of others, damaging workplace relationships and controlling our emotions in situations like this and it can be tempting to avoid them.

This workshop will provide you with the knowledge and skills to feel more comfortable and confident when giving feedback. You’ll learn about:

  • different types of feedback
  • the characteristics of effective feedback
  • key skills to delivering effective feedback
  • models to help you structure conversations
  • strategies for handling more challenging conversations

You'll leave the session with your personalised action plan to continue developing feedback skills in the workplace.
