Lunch and Learn: How to successfully bring an invention to the market

Posted: Fri 10th Dec 2021

Many of us have thought up ideas that we're convinced could make us a millionaire or be a bestseller. But how many of us actually give it a go? The reality is that only 1% to 5% who even attempt it, actually succeed.

Zoë Chapman invented the world's first compact eco-toilet for kids, Kiddiwhizz, seven years ago and has only just successfully launched it this year.

In this Lunch and Learn, Zoë shares her highlights from an intense first year in business, which got her from an idea on paper in October 2020 to an award-winning product and the final stages of Enterprise Nation's Female Start-up of the Year by October 2021.

Key takeaways from this session:

  • The power of networking

  • Ways to test the market

  • How to be best prepared for anything that comes at you
