Sophia is senior adviser at the Customer Department, where she's involved with creating and developing the SME projects at the EUIPO.

She's also a Belgian lawyer with more than 25 years of experience in the IP area, including as litigator before the EUCJ and as a certified mediator. Before joining the EUIPO, she was attorney at law at a leading international law firm in Brussels.
