Lunch and Learn: Get paid on time with the Small Business Commissioner
Posted: Thu 19th Aug 2021
Chasing overdue invoices is sadly a common task for many small businesses. However, there is someone who can help. The government created the Small Business Commissioner in 2016 to tackle late payment and unfavourable payment practices in the private sector.
Liz Barclay was appointed to the role in July 2021 to spearhead the national effort to crackdown on delayed invoices, which cause thousands of small businesses to close every year.
In this Lunch and Learn, Liz explains to journalist Dan Martin how she can help your company and shares tips for getting your invoices paid on time.
