Lunch and Learn: Female entrepreneurs – the secrets of their success
Posted: Fri 14th Aug 2020
In this Lunch and Learn, authors Ruth Saunders and John Smythe offer tips for aspiring female entrepreneurs who are starting out or growing their businesses.
This is based on their interviews with 52 successful women for their book Female entrepreneurs – the secrets of their success.
From their extensive research, Ruth and John also provide insight into what struck them most, including one founder's ability to hold down a corporate post, run a start-up on the side and bring up three young children as a single mother.
The ages of the 52 female entrepreneurs interviewed ranged from 12 to mid-60s, demonstrating that you can start a business at any age and any stage in your life.
