In this webinar with Debra Levitt from Bridge Road Consultants she explains why good, strong processes are vital for running a successful business, the different levels of detail needed and how to start defining processes for your company.

I moved to the UK a very long time ago (so called friends tell me I am now more British than Canadian!) and now very much see England as home. My life is a mixture of spending time with friends, borrowing the most beautiful dog (be warned - I may be a tad smitten with him!), working with business buddies as we try to grow our businesses and endeavouring to get back into horse back riding which I miss immensely.

Like many, I am a huge tennis fan for the 2 weeks of the year that Wimbledon is on!

I have a <a href='http://itunes.bridginggaps.uk/' target='_self'>podcast </a>which is partially business and partially pleasure as I really love speaking to so many different inspiring business owners.

In spare time, I experiment with my creative side by creating new patterns and designs and enjoy photography as well.

I now combine my experience of planning, love of technology and talking by working with people and businesses to launch their own podcasts.

The power of processes in business and how to get them right

Kam has over 29 years of property experience. He is regarded as one of the UK’s most influential and most respected property investors and developers because of how active he is in the UK Property market. 

But it wasn't always like that. He grew up in one of the poorest areas in East London, and his circumstances motivated him to escape from life that many people were stuck in.

Fast forward to today and Kam has implemented and still does implement a variety of property investing strategies successfully, such as: buy to lets, HMOs, Serviced Accommodation, Permitted Developments, New Builds, and Commercial Conversions, which means he has built up a significant multimillion-pound property portfolio.

&lt;p&gt;I am a fashion business strategy consultant, coach and mentor. I help entrepreneurs looking to change career and enter the fashion industry to develop their idea into a solid product or service.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I also assist and work with&amp;nbsp;fashion entrepreneurs who already have a business but feel like something is missing, that the brand/business&amp;nbsp;is not growing the way they thought it would, making the money and profits they should or wondering how to scale it bigger.&lt;/p&gt;

There isn&amp;#39;t much as a product that I haven&amp;#39;t at some point worked on.&amp;nbsp; For most of this time, I managed the creative teams and oversaw the process from Idea to Finished product and more often than not I then took that knowledge to the PR, marketing and retail shop floor.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;After leaving the last company I was employed by, I set up an online fashion manufacturing portal with the mission to demystify and simplify the fashion manufacturing process. Whilst growing the platform and working on the development of software to automate a largely hands-on process I came to the realisation that while so many competitors were jumping on this &amp;quot;trend&amp;quot; to create what they saw as just a &amp;quot;directory&amp;quot; the industry was not getting any more transparent or functional. The problem I saw&amp;nbsp;was hiding in&amp;nbsp;the lack of proper practical and honest educational support to the new influx of entrepreneurs in the industry AND support for independent brand overlooked by the governmental trade bodies.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This determination to share my experience and knowledge with fashion entrepreneurs worldwide led me to exit the platform I spent over 6 years creating and launch Fashion Insiders &amp;amp; Co.
