StartUpToScaleUp.Club founder Anton Kool shares his successful journey and how Grow London Local has helped him with some of the challenges he faces as a small business owner.

Tell us about your business.

My name is Anton Kool. I'm an Albanian in London who's founded StartUpToScaleUp.Club. We help founders go from startup to scaleup via four regular Q&A sessions per week.

What are some challenges you face as a small business?

Our main challenges currently are resources. So, staff and technical knowhow to stream to a wider audience.

How did you find out about Grow London Local?

We were looking for support and Geoff was available and is helping us through the way so far. And yeah, I'm very happy with what support he gave us.

How did Grow London Local help your business?

I reached out to Grow London Local as I was advised to contact them and offer our services. I did, and then I thought why not also reach out to them about advice that we needed?

What's your experience been with Grow London Local?

Grow London Local has been really good to us. It's put us in touch with a few universities that hopefully will turn out to be fruitful in terms of finding students to work for us.

What are you looking forward to next?  

What I'm really looking forward to is Grow London Local sending people to us, so we can help founders in perhaps what is the best city in the world to start up and scale up.

I'll also hopefully find some help from them in terms of the challenges I mentioned earlier.

What advice would you give to other businesses?

My advice is find a solution to a problem and be very niche about it. Grow London Local has some brilliant people who are passionate about London businesses, and they also have a ton of good service providers or brilliant ones like startuptoscaleup.com.
