Next Gen Fest 2021 is coming!

Posted: Mon 18th Oct 2021

Are you a budding entrepreneur aged between 16 and 30? Then Next Gen Fest (NGF) is the place for you!

Running remotely for 2021, NGF will provide a bonanza of brilliant and inspiring speakers, sharing stories, insights and advice revolving around running your own business as a young founder.

Whether you have the embers of a brilliant business idea smouldering within the back of your mind, or you already run a small business of your own, NGF will provide ample opportunity to network with like-minded individuals in order to give you the very best chance of success.

There is also a wonderful competition running alongside Next Gen Fest 2021, where two finalists will have the opportunity to pitch their business (or business idea), with a £3,000 (plus plenty of trimmings) 1st place prize up for grabs.

When is Next Gen Fest 2021?

Hosted virtually on Hopin, Next Gen Fest 2021 will run from 10am to 4.30pm on Friday 12 November.

You can grab your free tickets for the event, plus read more information about some of the wonderful speakers participating, on the event page.

Next Gen Fest 2021 competition

We’re always on the lookout for young, up-and-coming entrepreneurs, so therefore Enterprise Nation are running a competition to provide the opportunity for young talents with big potential to pitch their businesses, or business ideas.

Alongside a sizeable cash prize, the winner will receive year-round support from Enterprise Nation in the form of access to market, profile opportunities and connections to expert advisers.

Like the sound of that? Should you choose to apply and pitch your idea, you’ll be judged by Emma Jones, founder of Enterprise Nation, and Paula Schuh Wagner, Business Development Director at Dell Technologies, one of our sponsors for Next Gen Fest.

Four lucky applicants will chosen to pitch live on the day, with the grand prize including: £3,000, 12-month support from Enterprise Nation and an award-winning Dell Latitude 9420 2-in-1 Laptop provided by Dell Technologies.

Our runner up will be awarded £2,000, so be sure to get those applications in! Our entrants should have a clear vision of their start-up’s direction, with a view to either innovate or disrupt traditional marketplaces.

This could be your opportunity to turn dreams to realities…
