Based in Redbridge, MODE London is a store for men who need special clothes for special occasions. Run by its founder Edia Chow, the business offers formalwear to buy or hire, as well as made-to-measure garments.
MODE London has been operating for over 18 years – originally in Hong Kong – providing high-quality, bespoke customer care and an extended one-week rental service. It hopes to develop a suit delivery service for the local community in the near future.
MODE London has faced some difficulties attracting new clientele due to its fairly hidden location. Founder Edia was looking for support with planning, sales and marketing to help generate more sales leads.
Edia spoke with Grow London Local Business Support Manager Brandon Merrifield. For marketing support, Brandon referred Edia to PR agency FP Comms, while also recommending the Small Business Research & Enterprise Centre for great networking opportunities.

My name is Edia and my company's called MODE London. MODE London is a brand that started in Hong Kong and has now come to London. We specialise in stylish formalwear like tuxedos and suits.
The biggest challenge has been keeping up with the fast-changing fashion world while staying true to our commitment to quality.
