Later this month, I'll be in Liverpool for the Labour Party Conference, representing Enterprise Nation and our community of small businesses.

On Monday 29 September, I'll be attending the Business Day, which brings together business leaders, policymakers and parliamentarians for a packed day of debate and discussion. The centrepiece will be Chancellor Rachel Reeves' keynote speech.

I'll be in the room to capture the key announcements most relevant to small firms, from tax and finance to investment and innovation.

Straight after, I'll join an event with Sage and the Labour Growth Group to unpack what the Chancellor's words mean in practice for SMEs and growth.

Earlier in the day, I'll be at SME4Labour's breakfast session with Barclays, exploring how to build small businesses' confidence to invest.

The conversation will focus on the barriers holding back small firms and the policies that could turn the tide.

In the evening, I'll attend the New Statesman and Santander reception, where the spotlight will be on how the private sector can work with government to back SMEs' growth across the UK.

Throughout the day, I'll be listening in on the debates, joining conversations and sharing updates on what the policy direction could mean for founders and entrepreneurs.

From finance and confidence to growth and innovation, I'll be covering the themes that matter most for our community.

Look out for my updates from Liverpool as Labour sets out its stall on the small business agenda.
