Ceramics legend Emma Bridgewater to speak at Festival of Female Entrepreneurs

Posted: Fri 13th Apr 2018
We are delighted to announce that Emma Bridgewater, one of Britain's most successful entrepreneurs, will be a headline speaker at Enterprise Nation's Festival of Female Entrepreneurs.
Returning for a seventh year, the festival takes place in Bristol on 19 October.
Emma Bridgewater is a household name of British business having spent over 30 years building up a successful company most recognisable for her trademark hand-decorated kitchen pottery.
With no formal training in design or business, she quickly established the company bearing her name which now employs over 300 people.
While Emma's commercial office is in London, the company's pottery is made in Stoke on Trent where she spearheaded a revival in traditional craft skills in the potteries.
A refusal to outsource manufacturing to low wage economies abroad has led Emma to a role as a champion of British industry and manufacturing.
We are delighted that she will be joining us at Festival of Female Entrepreneurs to share her experiences and advice.
Hosted at the newly refurbished Mercure Grand hotel in Bristol on 19 October, the festival brings together some of the UK's most influential female entrepreneurs, business leaders and brightest start-ups to provide you with detailed and practical insight to grow your business! Don't forget that Enterprise Nation members get 25% off.
