My name is Isla and I am a business partner at a web development company called Buttered Host in Glasgow.&nbsp;

I have been with the company since May this year. Previous to that I was working at sea on cruise ships.&nbsp;

We are launching a new subdivision called Buttered Lite aimed at new businesses and startups and getting them online and looking professional for a subscription fee.

I love people and love to connect with others in the business. Networking is key to business growing and something I genuinely enjoy. Everyone has a story and I love to learn it.&nbsp;

&lt;p&gt;The last company I worked for, Constant Contact, gave me the opportunity to work with 100s of small businesses across the UK. It was the best three years I&amp;rsquo;ve had in a job! The business owners I met were (and still are) incredible. And there&amp;rsquo;s a brilliant community for small businesses. You could say I was bitten by the small business bug.&lt;/p&gt;

I knew I still wanted to work with small businesses, so when my husband said I should start my own business, I didn&amp;rsquo;t need a huge amount of convincing.
