Having lived in the care system from ages 11 to 21, and overcoming challenges such as the criminal justice system, Shimron understands first-hand the challenges mission-driven teams face and has turned these experiences into a success story of advocacy and action.
Shimron has supported care-experienced communities for over seven years through the Drive Forward Foundation and serves as a steering committee member and communications lead for Lawyers Who Care CIC, an initiative helping young people from care backgrounds enter legal careers.
Shimron's technical background spans both code and no-code tools, combined with delivery expertise across complex digital and data-driven government programmes. Their contributions include major initiatives such as the Post Office New Branch IT and Supply Chains projects, delivering technology with tangible social impact.
