<p>Owner and founder of Polyester Saltburn - a contemporary indie gift shop located in the popular Victorian seaside resort of Saltburn-by-the-Sea stocking a fabulous hand-picked selection of gifts, cards, and homewares. Creator of the sock brand - <a href='https://polyestersaltburn.co.uk/collections/forsocksake' target='_self'>forsocksake </a>- small batch socks with a Teesside-seaside twist.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I opened Polyester as a vintage shop 6 years ago and it was 100% eco-friendly and part of the circular economy. Today it has morphed into a contemporary gift shop with an austere-fun retro vibe. I sell a range of carefully curated curiosities, gifts and goodies at prices that everyone can afford. I believe that even in uncertain times everyone should have access to quality gifts at affordable prices. I choose and curate Polyester's stock carefully, avoiding single-use plastics and excessive packaging wherever possible. My ethics and ethos are baked-in to the fabric of the shop - I don't shout about it and most people don't notice. That's good, job done!</p>
