I am a curator with 10 years of experience in the contemporary art field. I curated the artists notebooks collection for the non for profit organisation <a href='https://moleskinefoundation.org/' target='_self'>Moleskine Foundation</a>. I run C-Gallery, an art gallery focused on Contemporary African Art based in Milan, Italy, for two years and I’ve been the Director and Project Manager of Grafite HB, a charity that develops Public Art projects in the peripheral areas of Milan.
I launched Metropolis Digital Fanzine in April 2020 as a first stage of the bigger Metropolis Project. Metropolis is my expression of curatorial activism. Through the selection of the artists and the implementation of events and community’s activities I am promoting social engagement through contemporary art. I believe that art has the power to foster critical thinking and ultimately drive social progress. My work as an art curator is to facilitate the encounter between the artistic expression and the public perception.
