Hi, I am Rich &amp; based in the Midlands. I have owned and operated several successful businesses over the past 15 years - retail businesses (£35m t/o with 150 employees), regulated lottery business supplying national UK retailers, online fashion business and concessions in a high street UK fashion retailer. Prior to this, I worked in senior positions in large UK corporates (Camelot, operator of the UK Lottery and Smiths News). Wealth of experience in starting and operating successful SME's.
I have mentored many individuals, in my corporate roles, as a business owner and through the HTG course. I have completed the Foundation in Business Mentoring and am keen to use my experience to support others on their journey. I am a frank communicator with a flair for asking questions to bottom out ideas or issues to aid in developing robust plans. I am affable, approachable and considered, very able with numbers but equally at home considering more creative ideas.
I am available to support and help business owners get their ideas and plans off the ground, help identify, isolate and resolve issues and provide a supportive ear when required - I know it can feel lonely at times. I am passionate about small enterprise and the place they have in the UK as well as creating wealth and income for business owners. I question everything, use logic for decision making and ensure plans are robust, achievable and realistic with financial forecasts to support.
I am currently supporting the Enterprise Nation 'Help to Grow' scheme as well as providing consultancy through the Cranfield Trust to UK based charities. Both these roles enable me to support a varied range of businesses and functions to improve net returns. Leveraging my experience and skil; base I am confident I will be able to support you improve your current business in terms of revenue, net profit and efficiencies.
