The next generation of entrepreneurs have the ideas, ambition and creativity to rapidly transform the UK’s business landscape.
Through side hustles and start-ups, social enterprises and creative ventures, young people are finding new ways to solve problems and create opportunities.
But ambition alone isn’t always enough. Young entrepreneurs face unique barriers to building their businesses, particularly when it comes to access to funding, mentorship, and business education.
That’s where The Next Gen Hangout comes in.
Applications for the Next Generation Grant are now open, offering £1,500 plus six hours of mentoring from an experienced entrepreneur to help you take your idea forward.
The grant is open to UK-based entrepreneurs aged 18 to 24, and you don’t need an established business to apply. Just an idea and the drive to make it happen.
In our upcoming session on Thursday, 24 September at 5:30 pm, we’ll talk through the grant in more detail, answer your questions and share some helpful tips to give your application the best possible start.
Led by Shimron Walters, Enterprise Nation community ambassador and founder of BitesizedGenius, these monthly virtual meet-ups are a relaxed space for emerging entrepreneurs to connect, ask questions, share ideas and get expert support.
There’s no pressure to have it all figured out. Come along with an idea, a side hustle, a business already in motion – or simply a curiosity about entrepreneurship.
This community session is for emerging entrepreneurs – typically people aged 18 to 24 – who are building or exploring business ideas, start-ups, social enterprises, freelance ventures or creative projects.
These sessions are for you if you:
