Becoming a parent profoundly alters our approach to finances, often leading to stress and anxiety. This workshop provides valuable support for expectant parents and managers assisting staff through this transition.

It addresses how emotions impact financial decisions, including career choices, how to identify and manage anxiety, budgeting strategies and relevant financial products.

Key takeaways from this session:

  • Forming a new relationship with money as a parent
  • Employees can be supported with financial guidance
  • How to build healthy family finances

2020 Financial Planning Ltd

I originally qualified and practised as a solicitor. I also set-up an estate planning business which introduced me to financial services. From then on I knew where I wanted to spend my career. I started 20:20 because I wanted to bring a fresh approach to financial services. It’s never been easier to add value, yet many people don’t seek financial advice. My goal is to establish credibility and trust. I also want to have fun – I love what I do, especially when it comes from a place of authenticity. I’m fascinated by tech and innovation. I provide tailored support to tech startups and SMEs. I collaborate with tech entrepreneurs and organisations that foster innovation. Most of my spare time is spent with my wife and daughter. I enjoy boxing and fencing. In 2023 I started the first Dad’s only playgroup in the Holme Valley. I am a sepsis champion and like to give something back to the community whenever possible. 20:20 Financial Planning Ltd is an appointed representative of The Openwork Partnership, a trading style of Openwork Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
